The Bunny Bird starts with a rabbit strip tail in back of a body of rabbit fur, the flash is subdued, used only to evoke a lateral line. To this we had a prominent eye and a topping of ostrich herl. What results is a great general imitation of small baitfish. When pursuing fish who are chasing small bait this is a great fly to have ready. It's effective on a fast strip and will also imitate a wounded baitfish when barely stripped at all.
